...in the many days past that seal the fate that was friends,,, i still see in the dim light a friend from yesterday as my impression of love is stolen with time,,, i breathe and i listen to silence when i wake and touch those memories and still understand i genuinely miss you... i build my life with events as they happen looking for semblance of you in someone else with ideas love can't be real with passing time... 2 years have passed and i still remember your smile while i try and understand mine when i feel you in past music that still wakes a tear nobody can see... maybe next year i will understand better who you were as i fade in time and memory... maybe i can't be me anymore without someone like the friend i had in you... life is never pretty is it when we let go... maybe i will learn to say goodbye,,, just not today!!!
