The cards are stacked against Min. Even if things turn out that she was not in the managerial position, the old clip where she gave a speech asking people to continue investing in leaves her in hot water as many people could have invested because of her celebrity influence. To me, Min's incident is a clear proof that greed knows no bounds. You can be filthy rich and famous and still want to get richer, even with dirty methods.

Why celebrities getting accused to rip off company? If the people invest money into companies isn't it like gambling, stocks. You win, you lose. Why blame others if you're investing in a company?

Because, it seems likely.. that this is not a “proper” investment scheme. It sounds like a scam… a get rich quick scheme that works like MLM system.

Pong has released a statement that he is only the spokesperson for one of the products from the company. He has nothing to do with the company's sales and management. He will do everything to cooperate with the authorities.

Paul (idk who he is) went on Kanchai's show and was crying about the situation. He revealed that all the involved celebrities are just spokespeople, their speeches were all written by the company because it was specified in their contracts. Also he says that Kan's contract is 5 years and is paid on monthly commission tied to company sales. Same with Min and Sam, although they're paid less than Kan. Boy and Dome are spokesperson for products under the company and they're paid annually.

Edit: there is a leaked audio where a Thai official is asking for 30 million baht to cover this situation up. Welp, Paul just admitted that the recording is true, and he pays that person $100,000 baht per month because he doesn't want any trouble...

Because from the company profile it seems these 3 are not just spokeperson, they actually had an actual power and they knew the company is ripping of people. It short it’s a get rich quick scheme. Ponzi scheme that is being marketed as some sort of Multi level marketing with products.

And many join because they see all these artist being the spokeperson. They trust that.
They are 2 type of artist, those who agreed to promote anything as long as they are being paid. 2 the honest one who only promote things they trust. They type 2 is a rare breed in Thailand.

Those 3 artists/bosses? wealthy famous. Did they know of ripping off people Why would they risk their names, jobs. I don't get it how these things work. Regular people just give money away without getting back returns.

I'm probably going to sound harsh for saying this but I've never seen any entertainment industry like the Thai one exploit their own images as much as Thai celebrities. Idk if it's greed or what but they create so many business or promote so many no name businesses to their fanbases to make even more money. There's bound to be more celebrities with shady business deals out there.

Investing and gambling is not even in the same realm though. Gambling, you literally do just take a shot in the dark and hope you win the big lottery. There is no promise of a return but just a hopeful one.

Investing is putting your own money into this business, and based on the information being given to you--let it be by a financial advisor or by the business owners, you are putting money in with expectations of earning equity and gains back. Here you have many celebrities doing PR for this company manipulating others into believing that this is a profitable business and that they will make their money back plus more.

It's how they make money or else they wouldn't be able to afford that "glam celeb lifestyle." Lakorns don't pay much compared to ads and events. I can't find the news article now but they listed some of the top-earning stars and I just remember Aum, the highest paid, getting like $5K per episode but almost double that amount to show up for about an hour or 2 at some event vs how many weeks it takes to shoot a single episode? Then for advertisements it was an insane amount. Want to say it was close to half a million dollars per ad? And that is Aum. Imagine how little the non top stars get paid for lakorns. So its definitely a cultural/system thing. If the actors got paid decently just acting, I'm sure they wouldn't be out there selling random stuff. And it's like some kind of bragging rights for fans. Good lawd, I've seen some ugly fights on twitter about who gets what brand to work with them, mostly about the younger GMM stars.

I don't know the details about the new Kan/Min scandal but it wasn't clear to me how it was any different from other businesses like that which are like pyramid schemes except they have products to sell. Reminds me of Mary Kay and some will say Mary Kay and their ilk is just a legal pyramid scheme. this company spiral into bribing police, officers who are incharge of the law for business and also involve bribing politicians, all evidence recorded. Like someone went undercover and gathered all this evidence then give it to TV station because the normal police report was not working.

And there was also evidence of threat to beat up or kill anyone who try to investigate them.
So now it’s not just about MLM business

I would imagine that Min will definitely be blacklisted now from the industry bc how many of these celebrities belong promote this was introduced to it because of her, Kan, and the others who have more ties to it??
