Aw I'm too late. Hehe. I was going to post the teaser. :coverlaf: But thank you
bieluvr! I'm glad I'm not the only one updating this thread! Lol.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for this!!!!!!!!!! I just rewatched all of my favorite scenes from the original yesterday after seeing that Pong and Son's character descriptions were released. I'm surprised it's going to air so soon since I don't even think they've finished filming yet. But I'm also not that surprised since the director did say it was going to air in July if everything goes as according to planned. So this will air either after Ban Lang Mek or RLSR.
I'm so excited to see Mo back onscreen! I know MPGGG is currently airing, but I'm ecstatic to see her back in an actual lakorn! Hopefully there will be lotssssssssssssssss of promotions for this, with Mo INCLUDED! She's almost ALWAYS missing from every promotion with the cast of her lakorns! Fun Fueng, MPGGG, etc.!
Tookta and Tang were adorable in the original. Their story was more interesting than Tik and Pim's. Their love story had potential to be more romantic than Tik and Pim's too, but it's too bad the writers didn't develop it. I doubt that's going to change in this version either with Pong and Mo since from bts pictures and the teaser, everything seems to be identical to the original. Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to all of Mo's scenes, as well as her scenes with Pong (despite me not being a big fan of Pong-Mo). I hope the director doesn't disappoint us with Mo's scenes. I hope she gets an equal amount of screentime as Pango does.
Son is a little stiff in the teaser. I never expect much from him though, since he's not the greatest actor. I'm sad they didn't show any scenes of Mo, while they showed scenes of Pango.
But I guess... Pango is technically the nang'ek so...
I hope this remake is a hit. The original was top rated so it'd be unfortunate if this one received low views. I have hope it'll be well received though (probably not as popular as LR's remake, but hopefully popular enough), since the cast did praise the director a lot for his filming style. Pong and Mo both said the cinematography and acting is like a movie. The first two teasers were a bit suspenseful, but they didn't exactly wow me. Hopefully the lakorn itself is much more captivating and enjoyable like the original was. And hopefully Exact releases a longer and more detailed teaser with all of the important characters in it.
I also hope Mo gains more fans from this. Hopefully after this, Sorry I Love You, and/or MPGGG, she'll get her due as a full time nang'ek for Exact and get cast in better lakorns. It's about time Mo receives a good lakorn, preferably slap-kiss, where she's the one carrying the lakorn. Something where the focus is on her for once so she doesn't need to stay in the shadows of two male leads (Likit Fah Cha Ta Din, Tawan Tud Burapah, Mue Prab Gook Gook Goo), a vengeful nang'rai (Marn Kammathep, Koom Nang Kruan), or a more significant female character (E-sa, Peak Marn, Fun Fueng, Pan Ruk Pan Rai, Sorry I Love You). Not to mention, that lakorn needs to be one where she gets a lot of intimate scenes and good love development with her pra'ek. Of course, the pra'ek has to be a talented actor from her generation, not someone who's older and incompatible with her. So, from Exact that's either Toomtam or New.
