People kept comparing Mai and Chompoo. Mai said that she's not going to replace Chompoo and asked to please stop comparing them or thinking that she's out to compete against her. Lol. Plus, Mai isn't fluent in English. She is perfect in looks but the language barrier is problematic.

Oh ok, the last thing i heard was Mai's interview saying that she would love to go and hopefully she gets a chance. When i saw the interview i felt that was a bit rude of her to say that. Then Chompoo gave an interview saying that she doesn't want to talk about itbecause there's no source to that rumor. After that there was nothing else.
The media was just stirring up drama between Mai and Chompoo. They said once Chompoo gets married, Mai will be her successor since Chomp won't be accepting as many events as before. Mai denied this and said that she will not replace Chompoo or accept events in place of her. She hasn't heard anything about being the next LoReal Ambassador for the Cannes Film Festival. Nobody has contacted her about that. Plus, Mai thinks highly of Chompoo. She will continue to be the shining star that she is so she doesn't think that Chomp will be leaving the ET industry any time soon.
Mai is right. Do people really think that Chomp will become a stay at home mom after she gets married or something? Nope. She'll continue to be the diva she is. Lol.

Lol medias in every country always love to instigate and stir stuff up. I'm glad that Mai isn't trying to replace anyone. She is good on her own and she'll prosper in this business on her own. However I feel that sometime she comes off as fake in her interviews.I think it's her smile.

LOL ^^^ I'm not sure how accurate this is, but I remember while she was talking about the proposal on 3 Zaap, she said she had all white outfits lined up in her closet for everyday just in case Nott proposed to her. It could happen any moment so she had to be prepared. That was why she was wearing white that day. Kind of crazy if you ask me. I'd have to go rewatch the clip.

Reason they waited this long is because of her dad was sick for so long, and she want to take care of her dad first. And when her dad pass away, it wasn't right to get married right away, that's why the wedding was now instead of earlier. Also yes Nott got lots of money, and can give Chompoo anything she want, but Chompoo is making a lot on her own too, and she has always been high maintenance or spurge on things. Saw her interview once, she said she does spend money on herself, but only what she can afford, if she know she can't afford and don't have money she will never spend like crazy. She also does gives to charity too. With Nott's family being a high society family, and his mom is crazy about Chompoo, I'm sure his mom has a hand in all these extravaganza wedding as well.
Look at Don's mom she went crazy with Don's wedding too, so I can picture Nott's mom being just as crazy with this wedding as much as Chompoo.

It does make sense to spend only as much as you can afford.
But realistically, a wedding just needs you and your significant other. The rest is all "wants" not what you need. People mix these two things up.

I think this is all Chompoo. His mother had a play in the mini Chinese ceremony they had, but I'm sure she respects Chompoo enough to let her plan her own wedding. She can go all out for this wedding if she wants. I said so before that my opinion doesn't matter because it's her and his money and their wedding. Lol. I just couldn't help but roll my eyes when she said that the proposal wasn't what she had in mind. Her body language said it all. She was a little disappointed so she definitely meant what she said. Well you should know Chompoo by now, look at her crazy dolls collections, she spend a fortune on those, so no surprise here when it comes to her wedding. But I think all these is a show for Nott's family wealth not so much as just Chompoo. She is just too pampers and spoiled with goodness. But I think she just born lucky, because even when she was young, peoples seem to cater to her. LOL.
Chomp to me, has that "all mighty" attitude. Something about her is so snarky and arrogant. There are a lot of rich people that has such an intimate wedding and make it so beautiful. More than often, when people have a grand wedding they already have in mind they want theirs to be the biggest so others will be hard to follow. Almost, like look what I got. Which, is fine...because if you can afford it then so be it. But it's all about what I can show but not about what it means.

It cost them more than 5+millions and so freaking elaborate that as I was watching I didn't even think it's a wedding after a while. And someone I know did a destination wedding cause the couple knows that not everyone will make it. They end up having just them...the parents on both sides....and a few close friends.
