I feel bad for Nine though. He was put in a hard place. Clearly the dude loves Baifern but he can't ditch his single mom who was his rock this whole time either.
Won't be easy for him to have a successful love life with a mother like that though. Mum definitely was not liking that Nine was an adult man who prioritized his love life. Shame on his mom, yes, I'm blaming the mom bc we see this all too much in real life too where the mom struggles not being #1 to her son anymore and sabotage his romantic relationships. She should reflect. Don't help that she's a show mom either so she's even more entitled.

I have seen mothers like Nine's mom. The relationship between mom and son will only get more rough from now on. Its really if you choose to be single and take care of your mom forever or be with the woman you love. A lot of times, it will be the son choosing the woman he loves, as it should be! It does not mean son does not love mom anymore but that son has grown and they deserve to have their own life/family. If his mom is the issue, it only means the love isn't all there. Most men won't choose his mom over the woman he truly loves. His mom needs to let him live his life, now he may have regrets and blame her in the future, who knows. Oh well, I wish them both the best, maybe they are meant to be friend zoned.

I feel for him for being between a rock and hard place. For Asians, respect for elders, especially parents, is very ingrained. Nine’s mum being a single mum makes a stronger pull for Nine too. She basically lived her life for him. The other complicating factor is of course all of them are public figures. Netizens feel like they have a right to comment on everything to them directly.

That's a good point but I think it's harder bc it literally was just him and his mom. It's not like he's where he is now bc he's super talented, it's bc of her and her connections so I think he really feels he cannot bite the hand that feeds him. Considering how long these rumors has been out there, I think it's fair to say he really tried to get his mom to stop with whatever she was doing or saying but clearly she wouldn't. Kind of the "if you love them then let them go" with Baifern.
Think he chose her for as long as he could before he had to accept that he couldn't be selfish as Baifern is caught in the middle and is a public figure too so shouldn't constantly have to answer to the bad blood rumors involving his mom.

so True! And I agree with some of you that parting ways is actually good for Baifern. Having in laws that don’t like you can make you feel so down and never enough. Then Even after marriage, they could manipulate the son, or play head games, making you believe for a fact you’re not good enough for their son. Like what. Nobody has time for that! So Nine's comments actually had netizens assuming that he had in fact sold his cars to support Baifern, which is actually not the case. Turns out he needed money because the building costs for his new home was a lot more than the initial budget. Moddam even says that it's impossible Baifern needs his money because she makes way more, and she has a ton of sponsorships and endorsements. Edit: all this info was revealed on Moddam's show, Nine never said anything so people were assuming that Baifern was spending a lot of his money.
Maybe Nine should have clarified that in his press conference as well so that people won't go mistaking Baifern. This whole relationship all started and ended with Nine giving a press conference. I don't see Nine ever finding anyone good enough for his mom. She will never be able to cut the cord, unless he is the one doing it. But his loyalty is with his mom for the time being because there's a sense of guilt. He felt he owed it to her that she's the priority in his life. It’s a tough choice to make because resentment will be creeping in when he's going through relationships and have to break it up.
Ultimately, he will find a girl that he truly loves and want to spend the rest of his life with and there's nothing mommy dearest can do. When she's the one, he'll fight his mom in every way to be with her, even if it means losing his mom. I hope it doesn't get to that point, but in these kind of situations one has to lose in order for another to win.

While I don’t think he sold his car for Baifern, I do think he was spending beyond his means to keep up with Baifern, all that holidays… until he can’t pay for his house.
Building a house is not cheap and even actor at the level of Nadech and Mark took so many years to keep enough money to build
