To be fair, Kashfiya went insane right off the bat in the novel as well, so this isn't exactly the scriptwriter's fault. Kashfiya probably won't show up anymore either. In the novel, her parents had her committed (or seeing a doctor) after they found out about what she did to Michelle and was never mentioned again.

Also, they had that news conference thing a few days ago and the lakorn most likely won't be banned. They're citing the fact that they had the English-translated scripts sent to Egypt's Department of Culture for approval before they started filming. Since they gave the approved the scripts, then others really shouldn't have a problem with it.
Good, because I sure don't want to see her royal craziness anymore. Now they can focus on the love between our pra'nang.

I hope it doesn't get banned because I started this and I want to finish it. Haha.

@Maya_Fantasy I haven't fully read novels in ages, so I have no idea about Daughter of Hassan. As for the people who want ch7 to pull the lakorn, they're mostly religious groups who felt that the lakorn distorted their religion and stuff. The thing is, most people are okay with this or don't really care. It's the minority that started making the noise. And originally, I don't think FJR ever specifically named a religion in particular. And aside from Michelle being from France, the rest of the novel takes place in fictional settings. I mean, Hilfara isn't even a real country.

Well by their customs you can definitely tell what religion They are. Unless there are different religions, I honestly don't know. Even if the named a specific religion, I still don't see a problem. Like Aimee said in an interview, it's not the religion it's the people. There are good and bad in everything, so I don't see why it should be banned. Like you said, Hilfara isn't even a real country! Haha. Or so we think...?

Great! I sure hope they don't ban it! I was going to be extremely sad. I've waited for this lakorn since the announcement years ago. Glad they got the script and everything approved the right way.

p.s. This weeks episodes were really good! Lots of interaction between Sharif & Michelle. I love it more when Prince Oman is shown less. P'Tik's acting is good, but c'mon, all that screaming, he's going to burst a blood cell! Lol Can't wait for next week! The preview was really intriguing!

Yeah, I kind of skip the scenes with Prince Oman. I just don't like his character at all. Super crazy.

Wow. The black hair makes Kwan look extremely white. Haha. If she doesn't speak Thai I would think she's full English. She has very Caucasian features.

Don't you guys just love bloopers and no goods? I'm watching this lakorn now and I just have to point these two mistakes out. HAHA. Funny, funny.

Episode 3: During the scene Sharif escorted Michelle back to the Princess's palace, his golden belt magically turned into a black belt. HAHA.

Episode 4: You can see that little microphone device thingy (I don't know the proper term, haha) they use suddenly drop from Tui's clothes. I found it funny how it's so obvious Tui tried to hide it. HAHA.

Omg, I've never been so annoyed by a nang'ek, ok I lied I may've a long time ago, anyway...Michelle is so stoopid. I don't really like what happened in ep. 5 between Sharif and Michelle too. It was kind of unnecessary... Man, I kind of wish they went off a different direction. I was hoping Sharif would be less attentive towards Michelle, like his feelings...? When did he start liking her??

Omg...press on phatman, press on.

They were drawn to each other since they first met.  The scene where Michelle was with Robert and she saw him.  She remember the man in her dream.  It was fatal attraction at first but as he gets to know her even more he falls deeper.  He likes to tease her and get her on edge just to see her reaction. Basically he is getting to know the true her rather than just fall for her beauty like the rest of the guys.

^^Phatman  you're mad at michelle?  Is it because she was mad at Sharif about the kiss?"  Speaking of Blooper if you notice when Michelle was mistaken for Kashfiya.  She was in a dark green dress with some bling bling on.  But when they brought her to see the King it was a lighter green.

I understand where Phatman's coming from though. Michelle has turned from a lovable naive girl to bratty and annoying ever since she escaped from the palace. I guess it's totally understandable to be easily annoyed when you're running for your life. But sometimes it's like, "girlfriend, please get it together." I mean, the girl falls down every 5 feet, willingly jumped from a camel, and refusing to eat perfectly good food (that she said so herself before finding out what they really were.) Jeez, what the heck did Kashfiya's family feed you anyway? They were probably rabbits and goats too. I swear, it felt like she was totally trying to get Sharif's attention at times like how nang'rais do. But for goodness' sake, you're alone with him in a desert, he's gonna pay attention to you anyway.

^^ Yes Kuda, right on. She was nice and sweet in the beginning, but after the whole assassination thing she became annoying. The fact that she's so weak in the dessert is understandable, but then she just defies his orders too much to the point I just want to slap some sense into her. Doesn't she know she's running for her life...? She can't get things her way now.

About Sharif falling in love, I understand that he may've fallen in love at first sight, but I don't really like how he becomes all touchy feely with her, I guess his teasing. It just doesn't match his character. I was hoping he would be more...cruel...well not cruel, but more cold...? Do you guys know what I mean? Haha. I think I'm the only one who complains in here. Haha.

@Areeya, you can watch this lakorn on viki.

^ Part of it because Sharif has his idea of how European women are supposed to be like so he treats her a bit differently. Even though Michelle told him already that she wasn't like that, he's still a guy. Plus, she pisses him off a lot of times by saying how he's uncivilized and barbaric. So he did those things to show that he CAN be barbaric but he has the restraints not to treat her that way because he's a good guy.

I agree Phatman. She has become so bratty and ungrateful! Honestly, I don't think the outfits in here make her look as gorgeous as she was in DDH. She looked so European in there and very elegant.

I haven't seen any of her other lakorns, but she does look very European. I'm not really liking the wigs either. So irritating. Haha. If I were the actors I would be so irritated. I just don't like the idea of wearing a wig all day long. I hope they chop Sharif's hair and shave his beard off soon, because I miss that handsome face!
