Aom Akkapan the actor who suffered from cancer near his heart had just pass away
They didn't tell his conditions much but said he's doing better that wasn't long ago. Today found out he died I didn't want to believe it. When did he got married by a white woman? Wonder if he has kids? I'm sad watching him in lakorns and he's younger than me by a little
It's seems good people died fast but bad people stay longer

Ch 3 management is soo dumb

It is not always about the star power. It is about the storyline/storytelling

They don't seem to know or want to even try.

I remember Jackie evening lakorn...was shelf and aired 8 yrs later? It was a hit

Give ppl good content....I feel in general it always needs to have good lead interactions....good side characters...good villian....chill out of the silliness and fillers

I tend to enjoy Ch1 lakorn more. Sure there are some hits and misses but at least I do not feel looked down by the directors and scriptwriters. They are airing Min and Film’s lakorn and Baifern’s and I enjoy both… The suspense in the former and the dark comedy timing in the latter are just perfect and keep me hooked. If you are going to make a lakorn, either get creative or make it interesting if you cant do so

They don’t seem to know or want to try is an accurate way of describing them. They don‘t realize that they’re in an era where people aren’t watching tv anymore, and isn’t likely to come back. We are in a streaming era now… if they do provide dramas that people do wanna watch, it’s likely going to be watched via streaming, not live tv. I understand they need advertisers for revenue, but that’s the old model. it’s not coming back. They cannot just rely on advertisers anymore.

and they also don’t realize - if the content is good, people will pay for it. The key is they need to make dramas that people wanna watch. Just on Netflix alone a viewer can get dramas and movies in different genres from all over the world. Ch3 has the star talent, but its producers, scriptwriters & management that don’t know what to do.

Yes I think CH1 have improve in terms of how the produce a lakorn, they didn’t drag and have script team. If they can get creative like GDH then it certainly a better production.

Something the other channel doesn’t do. They are stuck in some old age. They rely on old scriptwriter, no team and drag on.

I think it’s cos traditionally One’s ratings was not always very high compared to Ch3 & Ch7? So they figured out how to gain their audience & revenue by not focusing on ratings? They also lacked mainstream star power. This has led them maybe to focus on creating dramas that sell better overseas, or attracting overseas audience via streaming. BL alone was a huge innovation that has attracted a lot of audience.

Read somewhere that Ch3 still cares about ratings. That’s outdated. One has figured out how to survive in the current landscape. I read a comment by an asst producer too that One’s shooting schedule is quite fast. That kind of efficiency helps them cut cost for sure. Considering the plots aren’t nothing super revolutionary. Ch3’s drama aren’t doing innovative plots too, but production drags on like they’re shooting blockbuster marvel movies.

GDH has interesting ideas for script but I’m sure it’s easier to do those in movies, compared to drama.

Because Om doesn't have any children, after asking for permission from Om's mom, Amp got ordained as a monk to make merit for Om.

Omg and he planned to have a wedding in Poland (where his wife is from) and Thailand in March. He kept telling his friends that if he had lived, then they have to attend his wedding. This is so heartbreaking.

He got a very rare cancer, chances of him surviving for more than 2 years itself is a miracle. But it’s nice that he found a wife who stick by him during his hard time.

My heart goes out to Om and his loved ones that he left behind. Hopefully, wherever he may be, that he is no longer in pain and sick.

Very surprised to find out that he was married so I think it's great that he was experience such a great love of his life before he passed away. But with that said, my heart goes out to Daria. She held herself together so well for his funeral processions. To have been able to live their lives quietly and privately for a few years but then to be trusted into the limelight after you lose your other half cannot be easy.

I felt so sad for his family but at least they had each other. But it was a sad watch, to see her often solemn and alone with none of her own family around her, despite being cared for by Om's mom who seems to cherish her alot.

I'll always have conflicted feelings, more negative than positive about media bombarding those in mourning at these celebrity funerals. Like yes, the family could've allowed it since he had been MIA for so long, only for him to leave without a trace like this. But it was a bit too much for me. And then to be present at the cremation was a no no to me. Just 0 privacy. Just such an odd situation.

Reading your comment makes me understand why Om decided to keep his foreign wife from media (or at least kept a low profile). Seeing how the press violated privacy of his funeral it would come as no surprise for me that his wife would have received all the unwanted attention had Om ever disclosed to the media that he married her

Part of Ch1 low rating comes from the fact that they like to test new things, and it doesnt always work out. Take Duangjai Jorm Krabi as example, the concept is interesting but the execution was terrible. However, that doesnt stop them from doing so and they continue to churn out lakorns with extraordinary storylines. Though I have seen a fair share of hits and misses from this channel, I appreciate Ch1 effort to diversify the storylines. At least I dont have to see adultery, cheating and slap in every single lakorn

I believe ratings are still important despite all the streaming services/digitalization. In the Philippines, ratings are still important for TV stations. Advertisers still use this method to know where to put their ads and the TV stations also use this as basis for their ad rates. The money they are getting thru these ads is big. After all, these TV stations are still considered as businesses. They will try to find ways to earn. CH3 is trying to balance between offering traditional things to their old audience while also offering new and exciting content for their young audiences.

When it comes to streaming, they are trying to offer their content to major streaming sites and also testing their own via the 3Plus but not all (especially the old folks) will have the means or willingness to spend money on monthly subscriptions hence traditional is still important. We can't just neglect that. I agree tho that they need good production team with good writers. There are not many good producers under CH3 as of the moment.

Seeing how the media was running story about how they met, fall in love etc when the wife just lost her husband was so crude. They didn’t even cremate him yet and here the reporters are busy running their love story.
That is so heartless

Janie has admitted that she has been separated/divorced from Micky for a while now. She has said that their daughter is the most important and they co-parent. She cried and hugged the reporter after the interview. =/

Hmm, Sam, Kan, Min, Boy, and others are involved in a company that is accused of being a scam/mlm. It's gained enough attention that Min had to hold a press conference to say that she is only the spokesperson, although netizens and the press later find an old clip of her calling herself the boss of the company. Sam is saying he is communicating with the company to see what's going on. Boy has gone on a TV show to deny the claims and to apologize while Kan is taking a break from hosting.

A spokesperson for the Thai government had come out to warn people telling them to beware, saying that directing selling companies can easily to cross the line and turn into mlm scams. Netizens are leaving angry comments because the company has apparently cheated a lot of people's money. Not sure if this is going to turn out to be like the forex 3d situation.

Edit: Kan has also given a press conference to explain, he says he is only hired as a event host and a pr person, and is not involved in the running of the company nor ever invested in the company. His compensation comes monthly from the company's sales, but he has now ended the working relationship and will turn over the information he has gathered to the authorities. The people in the company calls him boss only to show respect, and not because he actually works there.

Why celebrities getting accused to rip off company? If the people invest money into companies isn't it like gambling, stocks. You win, you lose. Why blame others if you're investing in a company?

Over 800 people had reached out to the police in the past 4 days to file a report that they were scammed. And the amount of money involved so far is 266 million baht.

Sam, Min, and Kan have all gone to the police station to get questioned. Even Kan's wife has supposedly got people to invest in the company. Now netizens are calling for Dome and Weir to make a statement because they were also at the very least the spokesperson.

Because from the company profile it seems these 3 are not just spokeperson, they actually had an actual power and they knew the company is ripping of people. It short it’s a get rich quick scheme. Ponzi scheme that is being marketed as some sort of Multi level marketing with products.

And many join because they see all these artist being the spokeperson. They trust that.
They are 2 type of artist, those who agreed to promote anything as long as they are being paid. 2 the honest one who only promote things they trust. They type 2 is a rare breed in Thailand.
